Intercultural Competences: dealing with diverse perspectives in the workplace
Jaleesa Latupeirissa & Janine Geerling
Working with students and colleagues from different cultural backgrounds, educational levels or working styles can be both inspiring and challenging. What seems obvious to you may be completely different to someone else - influenced by unique (cultural) perspectives. How do you turn these differences into a strength?
In our interactive workshop, you start by recognising and developing your intercultural competences! We will work on strengthening your ability to understand cultural perspectives of students, colleagues and yourself in your work. Whether you want to respond to the growing diversity among students, work more smoothly with colleagues or are curious about how to recognise and use your own cultural glasses - this workshop will help you navigate complex situations with greater confidence and understanding.
