Optimal learning: What fits your brain?

Minke Brinkman, Laurien Jansen, Jasper van Winden, Maaike van Tuinen & Tom Frijns

What does an ideal learning and working environment look like? It is probably different for you than for your neighbour. Experience it for yourself during this interactive workshop! Discover how personal preferences and neurodiversity play a role in optimising learning environments. Whether you benefit from coloured paper, background music or space to walk around. Find out for yourself which factors stimulate you and think about how we can adapt the (learning) environment accordingly. In this way, together we will map out how the UU can contribute to the development of spaces where everyone feels welcome.

Biography

This session is facilitated by the Future Learning Spaces team, which works across disciplines to design and develop experimental educational spaces. One of the latest projects is a space that focuses on sense of belonging, to which the results of these workshops can contribute.
