Building together a handbook for reflection in CEL education

Marielle Jambroes, Roos de Jonge & Gerda Andringa

What is reflection? What is the purpose of reflection? In what context do you use reflection? When is reflection effective? And how do we assess reflection?

These are the questions that are the subject of our research ‘Reflection for Community Engaged Learning (CEL) education’ and will be addressed in this workshop. We will share initial insights from the research and work together on the question: how can we assess reflection? This workshop offers concrete tools for implementing reflection in your own teaching. By sharing your experiences, you also contribute to a dynamic handbook on reflection in CEL education.
