Skills Academy: skills education in an academic setting

Workshop
15:00-16:15
Room: Senaatszaal
Language: Nederlands

By Sofie van den Hombergh, Eduard van der Kooij, Berber Noordzij, and Sebastiaan Steenman.

As a UU alumnus, to be able to contribute to the major societal challenges we face, you need the skills in addition to academic knowledge and reflection. But how does skills education relate to the academic context of our education? And exactly which skills are important?

In this interactive workshop, we will map out the skills students need, explicitly considering how they relate to interdisciplinarity: which skills from your programme are also relevant within another programme?

Attention will also be paid to the new Skills Academy, which can serve as a platform for offering skills and where students can already take many great skills modules.
