Biography
Drs. Kirsten Boersma-van Nierop is a senior education policy officer for the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS), and student coach for the Faculty of Medicine. In her role as a policy officer, she gained years of experience in university education. In recent years, she has increasingly focused on the well-being and personal and professional development of students.
Dr. Tania Morán Luengo is an assistant professor and policy officer at the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS). Following her PhD in biochemistry, she shifted her focus to education, where she contributes to teaching, curriculum development, and educational research.
Dr. Kirsten Koymans is assistant professor and policy officer for the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS). She has a background in Infection & Immunity and obtained her PhD in Medical Microbiology in 2016. After her PhD, she increasingly focused her attention on education and was involved in the development of several courses. In 2020, she made the move to the GSLS and focused entirely on education. As coordinator of the Life Sciences Academy, she now dedicates her attention to the personal and professional development of Master students in the Life Sciences field.
