Away with assessments?!

Why do we assess so much? Why so often in the same way? And what exactly do we want to achieve by doing so? What problems do we solve with other ways of assessment, and what new challenges might they bring? These questions are the focus of this workshop. We will present showcases of alternative assessment, including advantages and disadvantages. Because while exams and frequent assessments have disadvantages, so do alternative forms.
